I had such high hopes for Fearless because I absolutely love Kai, but sadly, this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. From the get-go, the pacing felt off. The storyline was chunky, uneven, and repetitive, which made it hard to stay engaged. For a large portion of the book, it's pretty clear something's going on with Kitt, and I kept waiting for the big reveal… but when it finally came, I just couldn’t shake the feeling that it didn’t quite land the way I expected. It felt off, and frankly, didn’t sit well with me.

The romance, too, was a struggle. At first, I was into the whole "getting to know two hot brothers" dynamic, but as the story progressed, the whole thing became uncomfortable. Once the MC is in love with one brother while the other is hiding his feelings, it just turned into ICK territory for me. It was hard to get through the rest of the book with that tension hanging over everything.

There were some good sections, but overall, this book fell far short of what I thought it would be. It’s always disappointing when a book doesn’t live up to the hype, especially when you were so excited to read it.
