The Kindreds Curse Series by Penn Cole

The Kindred's Curse series by Penn Cole had me in an absolute chokehold. Seriously, I’ve been in such a book slump—romcom palate cleansers just weren’t cutting it anymore. And then came Luther. One of my new favorite MMCs, right up there with Xaden and Rhys (BIG DEAL, I know!). I’d eat food off a dirty floor for him, wear an all-denim outfit for him, and even drink tea so hot it burns my mouth. You get the point.

This series has everything—amazing world-building, complex characters, and all the drama you could want. I’d seen it hyped up on social media but didn’t pick it up until life handed me some unexpected free time (thanks, bankruptcy). I finally gave it a whirl and ended up LOVING it.

The bad news? There’s still one more book to come, and I don’t think it’ll be out until 2026. But if you’re looking for something to completely pull you out of a slump, this is it. Highly recommend!
